In this post I am giving you three good options for wedding vows in Spanish. I believe in marriage and love.  I think most Spanish people do also, as it is a catholic country.

If you do not mean these words do not say them, you have no business being married.  Love in Spain or anywhere is all or nothing.

Wedding vows in Spanish

Spanish wedding vows in Spanish and in English
Vows from the groom to the bride:
Groom: Yo, (groom’s name), te tomo a ti (bride’s name), como mi esposa.
Prometo serte fiel en lo próspero y en lo adverso,
en la salud y en la enfermedad.
Amarte y respetarte todos los días de mi vida.

Vows from the bride to the groom:
Bride: Yo, (bride’s name), te tomo a ti, (groom’s name), como mi esposo.
Prometo serte fiel en lo próspero y en lo adverso,
en la salud y en la enfermedad.
Amarte y respetarte todos los días de mi vida.

Option 2:

Vows from the groom to the bride:
Groom: Yo, (groom’s name), te recibo a ti (bride’s name), como esposa y me entrego a ti,
y prometo serte fiel en la prosperidad y en la adversidad,
en la salud y en la enfermedad, todos los días de mi vida.

Vows from the bride to the groom:
Bride: Yo, (bride’s name), te recibo a ti, (groom’s name), como esposo y me entrego a ti,
y prometo serte fiel en la prosperidad y en la adversidad,
en la salud y en la enfermedad, todos los días de mi vida.

Option 3:

Vows from the groom to the bride:
Minister: Novio (groom’s name), tomas tu a Novia (bride’s name) como tu esposa,
prometes amarla,
respetarla,
protejerla abandonando a todo y dedicandote solo a ella?
Groom: Si!

Vows from the bride to the groom:
Minister: Novia, (bride’s name), como to esposo,
prometes amarlo,
respetarlo,
protejerlo abandonando a todo y dedicandote solo a el?
Bride: Si!

Literal translation:

Vows from the groom to the bride:
Minister: Groom, (groom’s name), do you take Bride (bride’s name) to be your wife,
to love her, to respect her, and to protect her,
abandoning all others and dedicating yourself only to her?
Groom: I do!

Vows from the bride to the groom:
Minister: Bride, (bride’s name), do you take Groom (groom’s name) to be your husband,
to love him, to respect him, and to protect him,
abandoning all others and dedicating yourself only to him?
Bride: I do!
