Ingredients:
1 chicken
5 small onions
1/2 a cauliflower
1/2 a pound of mushrooms
2 tbs of butter
1 cup of peas
salt and black pepper
parsley
1. Cut the chicken into pieces at the joints, cover with water, season with salt and pepper.
2. Bring it to boil and then simmer.
3. In a meantime slice the onions and mushrooms and fry it for about 5 minutes with butter.
4. Add fry onions, mushrooms, chopped and green peas to the chicken stew.
5. Let all cook until tender for about 45 minutes. Serve hot, decorated with parsley.
Chicken is cheap
It is the easiest and cheapest bird to raise. In every Russian village you see chickens running in the street. If you are every short on money, you can always live in Chickens and potatoes.
