Great appetizers – simple, tasty and healthy. It doesn’t take much time to prepare it, but the effect is quite urbane. For this recipe rye bread is the best. It is also much more popular in Eastern Europe.
Ingredients:
few slices of rye bread
mustard
5 ounces of smoked salmon
caviar
2 pickles
1. Cut bread slices round with a biscuit cutter or if you don’t have one with a glass.
2. Spread with mustard. I usually use honey mustard or Dijon mustard, but it can be any mustard you like.
3. Cut the salmon and pickles in strips.
4. Put some caviar in centre of the bread, strips of smoked salmon around the caviar and strips of pickle around the salmon.
5. Serve chilled.
