  • I was thinking of using green tea as the base for preserves. Opinion? I think that the recipe above is very interesting. I remember my Grandmother, who was reared in Alabama, making rose water. I may try to do this! Thanks. Cary

  • I think that is a very interesting idea. I am starting to experiment more and more.

  • I love rose preserve, and my daughter’s favorite Torte is with that very flavor of preserve. Here in the US it is not that readily available,so I use raspberry preserve, but occasionally I do find it. If you are interested in checking out the recipe, here it is:
