I love hot Polish horseradish. You can get it at most Polish stores, but there is nothing better than hot Polish horseradish fresh grated. In fact you can find it grow wild in a countryside and make it at home. Nowadays however, you can get a great selection of horseradish in you local grocery store: classic, creamy, mild or with beats – you name it.
For this recipes I use classic and powerful horseradish, which can transform any meal into real sensation.
Instant horseradish sauce
1. Prepare the ingredients:
- half a glass of sour cream
- 2 tbs of horseradish
- 2 tbs of mayonnaise
- 2 tbs of lemon juice
- salt and black pepper
2. Mix all the ingredients carefully.

Dinner horseradish hot sauce
ingredients:
- half a glass of water
- 1 tbs of butter
- 2 tbs of wheat flour
- 2 tbs of horseradish
- half a glass of sour cream
- salt and black pepper
1. Melt the butter in a pot in a medium heat so it doesn’t get burnt, add flour and mix it with the butter.
2. Slowly pour water while mixing. Turn the stove top off.
3. Add horseradish, salt, pepper and sour cream.
This sauce can be use for meat dinner, hard-boiled egg dishes or as a spread for a spicy sandwich.
