Soak some matzoths in milk for a few minutes; then dip them into
seasoned beaten eggs. Add a pinch of sugar and let them fry in hot
rendered butter until a golden brown. Sprinkle with pulverized sugar
and cinnamon and serve hot with coffee.
Jewish cooking connected to Polish, Ukrainian and Russian recipes
Jews lived in Poland, Russia and Ukraine for over 500 years. There is no way that Polish, Ukrainian and Russian recipes did not overlap. There are some difference when it comes to Kosher preperation but generally they are the same. I am an American with Polish, Ukrainian roots but always love Jewish cooking.
