I do not want to paint a broad stroke of the brush but to me I have seen many American girls in Moscow who seem not to care about clothing or being feminine or shape. They do walk arround with self-confidence, something I wish I had, but they do it with an odd way.

I think it is great you have an interest in Russia, it is an interesting culture. Russian girls are not better, we are all human and I do not want to create and international incident, but American girls often let their bodies go from my observation and many American guys would echo my statement.

The girls in Moscow are just right. If you ever see them in gym class or on the athletics field or the disco they have strong muscle and bone structure. They look healthy and proportional. Even if they are thin, they have shape because of their bone structure. I think this comes from a natural diet when growing up. In contrast being raised on a junk food diet can distort one’s genetic potential for growth and development. It is simply we did not have the money to spend on cola and donuts. It was more tea and home-made soup.

Go to Кафе Пушкин or the Posh Pushkin cafe and you will see even the serving are modest not opulent.

If they are pale it is only because of the sunlight factor in Moscow. Not because of anemia or they are deficient. At least I do not think so. Thin or skinny to me means the women simply do not carry bag loads of excess fat.

I have seen American women, many I am sure are good-hearted people, simply tuck their lipid hydrophobic layers under clothes.

This is good for the clothing industry that sells plus sizes clothes but I can not imagine that those girls do not develop health problems later.

In contrast Russian girls do maintain their shape in marriage only because they want to. It is important to attract a guy and out of respect for him keep yourself up. So I agree that women need to maintain themselves after marriage.

I also think that before marriage a girls habits are a reasonable indicator of what a girl will be like after the wedding ceremony. It is a persons habits that determine their destitny.

But yes, I know what you mean. When I was in Russia (Moscow especially), girls are slim and fit and make it an effort to look their best. Here in America, girls will go out in sweats and flip flops and not care about their appearance. It’s not a pretty sight. A lot of married women take the approach that since they’re married, they shouldn’t have to pay attention to their appearance anymore. In my opinion, you should pay more attention to your appearance once you’re married. American women need to take cues from Russian women. My husband took me home with him to Moscow about a year ago, and I paid close attention the young women and how they take care of themselves there.

Why would any girl in her right mind try to sell me on the idea that fat or over weight or size 12 for a normal non-pregnant girl is anything but a prison?

I think many women are trapped inside a overweight body caused by a lifetime of excessive eating. In Russia where I am from I just do not see overweight women like in the USA and more important I do not see women trying to defend their obesity as healthy or normal or big frames. Where I am from and not everyone is Slavic girls are thin. Moscow as every nationality in the world as it was the center of a large empire (an arguably still is). It is like New York City. Moscow is the largest city in Europe, larger than London and there are girls there from all over the world. Yet remarkably they are thin.

Could it be something in the water that causes girls to be thin? I don’t think so.

I think if a woman has any self respect or wants to be female in anyway, she should make a real effort to lose weight. If she can not, try living in Moscow for a year and see what happens. But needs to leave the attitude with her at home or when she rolls (pun intended) out of bed in the morning. I do not mean to be rude but any girl in her 20s who wants to attract a male for marriage needs to think twice about defending her ‘large frame’.

In Russia is you are in your 30s and not married as a female things look pretty bleak. Nature holds women to certain standards for being beautiful. Sure fat girls may attract someone, but maybe that is one of the reasons there are so many divorces in the USA.

Girls if you want to be hot be thin.

Being a thin girl is liberating from a woman’s perspective and I attractive from a man’s perspective.

So not to be UN-politically correct, but girls are fat because they eat too much junk. They do not move enough. They harbor attitudes that are incongruent with a healthy lifestyle and perpetuate their fatness instead of their beauty and slimness.

I have read the Admin say something about yoga. Why not do a 2 week yoga camp for their next vacation? What is so wrong and horrible about that?

My on-line search on this topic was prompted today by the fact that I was considering seeking professional counseling for an insatiable and unrelenting attraction to thinner women.

Moreover, as you noted I found heavy women mostly incompatible, in attitude, to myself in a over abundantly percentage. Therefore I was starting to think the problem was in my mind only. I have found myself being a frequent quest in areas the have eastern European immigrants in America. My grocer is a Polish store. I really thought I was alone on this, and was bordering on a bit of depression for what I thought to weird behavior. Big women hate me I never knew why, skinny women and hit it off so magically. The problem in America is, at 38 years old the thinner women are younger. Over 35 is usually way beyond a size six.

I really found some solace here. I thought I was alone and weird. I love skinny girls. I really do. Thank you very much.
