Take a flight to Kiev. This is an international hub. Flights are easy. If you are in Poland you can take a train from Warsaw or Krakow. It is an over night train and you will see a lot of the Ukrainian countryside and maybe even meet some Ukrainian girls on the way.
- Krakow to Kiev or Warsaw to Kiev – The best way to go is by overnight train, you will get there by lunch time and will have a few Ukrainian girls mobile phone numbers from the trip. - Go to the student cafes, not coffee shops but bar studenki where they eat lunch. Many normal Ukrainian students, chat them up and get their cell phone numbers while eating borscht. At the end of your stay you will have a full list of numbers.I use to do this and it is effective.
- Museum of the great Patriotic war – WWII stuff worth seeing
- Along the river - any place along here you will meet chicks, and it is interesting and find out the stories about the founders of Kiev from Rurik to Oleg and how they jettison paganism and founded the country of Rus.
- Any park as Kiev is has the most green area of any city in Europe
- Liutych platzdarm
- Cave monasteries – This is a must see below you will find monks whose bodies have not decayed in death as they were not touch by sin.
- Dobranychivka settlement
- St. Pokrov Church – One of many, there was a church a famous Ukrainian pro wrestler donated a lot of money for the restoration.
- Ivan Kozlovsky villa
- Gardens of Oleksandria
- Museum of folk architecture – This is what many westerners think Ukrainian people still live like, yeah right.
- Museum of Ekaterina Bilokur
Once in Kyiv you will meet Kievan women on the street. Women of Kiev are two types:
- Those females that are eager to meet people from the West – Proceed with caution.
- Those females that will walk away from you, with disinterest. – Good.
The problem is the Kiev women that want to meet you might want something from you. Watch out. Unless you look like Brad Pitt or are very charming chances are a Kiew woman would not just talk to you out of the blue.
However, if you are sincere and ask for help with directions or something they might open up a little.
The Kiev girls that run from you are most likely the best girls. For example, my wife ran from me for almost a year before I won her heart.
Ukrainian language – Do not get stuck on the grammar or alphabet but focus on vocabulary.My only advice is this. Learn Ukrainian to speak and chat, not a lot but maybe a few words will do. Yes, learn even a little Ukrainian and you will have a chance with these girls. And in my opinion these are the girls you want for a bride. Woody Allan said ‘I would never want to be part of a club that would want me as a member’. This is true also true with men and women. If a girl is too easy the relationship might not last.
Meeting a girl from Kiev outside of Kiev
If you can not afford to go to Kiev, which is hard to believe, as it is a cheap city as long as you stay in cheap apartments and not hotels and eat at cafeterias and not restaurants and flaunt your money like an idiot in front of girls, than Kiev is cheap. Thank try to meet and chat with them on the internet. Either use one of the many Ukrainian language sites I recommend on this site or an online dating site. I think the former has a better quality. Actually this is false. Kiev and Ukrainian women don’t like the gay blonde brad pitt look at all in men. Some do, but most are are crazy about men with with Medeterranian complexions because like most Eastern European girls, they believe in the opposite attract theory.
Hair color and girls in Ukraine
I have blonde hair and blue eyes and it is like shooting fish in a tub for me. Also if you had sociology 101 you would know that opposites don’t attract, that’s why we have different races. Also women are three time less likely to date outside their race.
i will have to say only one thing… their smarts is really low . i have had the most boring conversations talking to girls from Ukraine . whats the point in having a pretty wife who is boring as heck? is that the true love you `ve been always dreaming of ? for me it is not
Maybe it is who you are? Like attracts like, I only encounter doctors and Phd linquists etc. My five good Ukrainian friends that are girls, two are professors, one an artist, one a master’s but a yoga instructor, and one with a masters is getting a Phd in literature. I think they are all pretty brainy and interesting, try meeting them in different circles than trips on the night train to Kiev and single guy adventures in Kiev.
Recently returned from my first ever visit to Kiev.
What a lovely city which with a little government investment would certainly rival currently more popular Eastern European destinations such as Krakow,Prague and Moscow.
As for the women …. well,just a different class altogether from your average Brit,American or Aussie.
To be honest I have stopped whasting my money going out to Bars here in the UK to save for another trip to Ukraine.

Some Ukrainain girls are looking for a better future, especially girls coming from poor countryside. They see Eu people and american people as rich, a way out of there.
But if you dont have enough money, job or just a student taking cheap flights renting cheap apartments, maybe you have to consider what you ego is up to. Can you support this lady you want to marry, both with education, money, or you just need something nice to feel you better.
I am making my third trip to the Ukraine this week and looking forward to experiencing a real Russian New Year. I agree with the author and his assessment of Kiev. I look forward to leaving a post when I return. I am arriving December 24 and returning to USA on January 4. I need a wingman if anyone else plans to be in Kiev at that time.
Kiev Ukrainian girls and that Ukraine is like
Kiev is a nice City. I spent all my life here in The United States and never knew about its existence until after I got hooked on to a cruel Ukranian woman living here in The US too who dropped me like a piece of garbage after opening my heart to her and because I was ” too soft “? . She actually had me wait in my car on the corner of her neighborhood and wait for her. I was so excited and the unexpected happened. She threw the ” friendship/ commitment ring ” that I gave her on my face from a passing car with another man driving. She was the passenger. She wanted to get married quickly to me to which I agreed and was willing to do, but at my age I had to find out about what the requirements were and where to register. I also needed to take care of some personal things. She was very cruel, the cruellest person I ever encountered in my life, the biggest fake;nonetheless I set it upon myself to find the woman that I thought this other represented when I first met her for the first time. I decided to visit Kiev. I simply booked the flight alone and took off without even knowing a word of Ukranian or Russian, or may be just one word ( Szrasdoid ). That’s it. That is how hurt and betrayed I felt. I did not generalize which is always the temptation, but instead I set my goals to find someone real. I had beed betrayed for the very first time in my life. I felt I needed to find someone quickly who could ” heal ” my feelings. I cried, but I had to take it like a man. I had set my mind to find someone better and I did. I spent close to a month in a hotel. It was expensive, but since it was worth it. Money can always be earned. Life and happiness come only once. The breakfast was abundant and delicious, close to Kreshyatik ( sorry about the spelling here ). I had never done that in my life, but it was something I was doing once and no more. I really wanted not only the company of someone nice and decent, but really a life long companion. I met her. She came from far too just to meet me. We were both looking forward to our meeting and had the same expectations of each other. It happened. She came from far on a train. She is the greatest, most honest person, and the sweetest person I ever met. She is young than me and we are now happily married here in the US. She is here wtih me and studying at the same time. This bad experience will tell everyone that you cannot generalize. You cannot refuse to pick yourself up and go one with your life because life is unique for each one of us and finite so we have to make the most of it. My bad experience shows that with honesty you can find your other half. It can happen around the corner or it can happen 5 thousand miles away from my neighborhood as it did in my case. Women are everywhere, but the women in Kiev I find them to be very loyal and the friendliest, of course excluding my bad experience. Yes, the women in Kiev like Western men and they want to get out of their economic situation, but so do most women. They simply want security in their lives, and this is all right. They want to feel secure and safe from their chosen one, so if you feel you are ready for this you can do like I did. One reader here writes that you can stay in an apartment and not in a hotel, it depends. If you are alone a hotel might be better. If you travel with other people then an apartment makes sense and you can save more. You can go for a week or two and enjoy yourself. You can travel in their subway system. You can visit their museums, churches and even the zoo. The best time to go is of course in the summer. Life is short and there are great people everywhere, but I chose Kiev because I knew in my heart that I would not let myself down from a past failure. You just need to be sincere with yourself, with your goals and with other people too. People will pick that up.
