For me the Romanian Internet is a maze. I do not read the Romanian language too well. It is Latin based and can be understood if you have ever studied a Romance language. I studied French for seven years and some Italian and Spanish, and it is hard for me to understand. I have yet to find the website for Romanian dating I can give five stars. I been reading a lot of comments here about the subject of Romanian girls, beauty, and what ‘everyone’ thinks of them.
Yet, in all honesty, there is not much solid info about the nature of them girls/women in Romania. Some people say to better avoid the Capital and go into villages, rural areas, some say they are just like all other places in the world (there is some beauty, but mostly not goodlooking), etc.
Excuse me if I got the wrong impression – but no one seems to have clear and solid grip of how to describe Romania, its people, girls, women and their culture.
The reason is obvious: many of you guys, lack basic English language skill.
The question then can be put like this:
Is there anyone in this site, with good command of English, who has been to Romania and spent well deserved time, to make a lasting – and hopefully helpful – impression on all of us.

Many people here are not native speakers in English so that is why there are mistakes, but it is what a person says more than how they say it that counts. That being said to answer your question it depends what you are looking for.
Do you want to find a girl to marry and love and cherish for all the days of your life? If yes, than it is best to find a girl from the country-side. However, this could include a student who is living in the city but from the countryside.
The city tends to corrupt people, but the city is where the people are.
However, do not expect to go there with an attitude and have women flock to you. You have to be hot stuff yourself, your life has to be together, that means you are religious and open to new ideas and cultures etc. I tell guys if they have no luck at home they will have no luck abroad. All abroad does is expand the possibilities that your destiny lies beyond the girl next door, including Romania.

I would add: what you say here can be applied to all of us, and to all girls of all nationalities, not just Romanian girl.
All what traveling to foreign country does is: Expand the choices one has in selecting the girl of his dreams. Yet in essence all girls/females are the same all over the world.
I am (described by people as) tall and very handsome. Though I come originally from Los Angeles (the City of Angels), where plenty of good looking women around, but I find it hard to meet a sincere, down to earth girl. Most, if not all, are natural born actresses. All they care about is living in the fast lane (Hollywood life).
I would prefer a girl who is family oriented, with genuine interest in raising a family (not raising parties every other day).
I really have an honest wish to visit and meet good rounded girl from Eastern Europe. But one thing makes me very suspicious about Eastern Europe – some people who been these countries say that “gorgeous” looking girls seem to be everywhere, but they vary either have no interest in foreigners or have strong interest, yet with dubious background.
You know what, I think is the best approach to meet the girl of your dream in Eastern in Europe: must live + work there. Experience day to day life. That’s when one can meet a true person, for a life time companionship
