TV is often said to be a great way to learn a foreign language
Parents often put children trying to learn a foreign language in front of the TV. However, because TV images are not concrete it is known that this does not always help children learn a foreign language. However, the same can be said for adults. Not because TV images are not concrete, for adults are better with abstract learning, its because TV learning not efficient. You have to initially drill in about 3,000 to 5,000 words and phrases in your brain before you can get a good grasp of a foreign language. Learning with flashcards is much more efficient then being frustrated by trying to guess what the speakers are saying on TV. Once you are at a good level, then TV is a good aid but not at first.

Boys prompt to me why I do not see pictures? Russian is the best language and sometimes TV is not bad to learn from.
can you give me some more ideas . watchingTV good or bad ?
Nothing is a bad way to learn a language. Every way is a good way, so if you are really into TV and like it, it is good. With language learning its more a marathon than a sprint and anything to get you to finish the race helps you learn a language.
