  • I believe that it all depends on the size of organisation you work for and your experience in language teaching.

    When I first applied for a teaching position in this country I was interested in more than just the monthly salary. I wanted to work for an organisation that offered health insurance, a working visa, a return ticket if I fulfilled my contract and accomodation.

    If it is just money a person is looking for then I think people may be disappointed in the money offered by local language centres unless they work for the British Council! This is probably the only place I know of that pays big bucks! I could be wrong.
