  • Hi My name is Helen
I have been living in the United stste more than 20 years and I still feel uncomfortable speeking english.I need to know if this method will help me to overcome this unplesent problem

    • You know I understand where you are coming from Helen. I speak a foreign language and live in a foreign country. However, I think you should not worry about mistakes etc as native English speakers do not care. I am a teacher of English and a native English speaker. Since my ear has been exposed to as many foreign speakers of English as native speakers, like every Americans, we really do not pay attention to mistakes or are really aware of them unless we focus on it really hard. I hear native speakers make mistakes all the time. Based on your writing your English is better than most people who write on this blog about languages. I think developing language confidence can come from many ways, but you need to know, your English is fine. I am an English teacher, if you want to talk to me briefly on Skype I can confirm this or tell you how you might improve, for free of course.

  • We have been applying a new method in Learning English by using LETS I MET (Learning English Through Subconscious Installing Method). It was invented by Mr. A.M Prayitno from Indonesia. He never goes to english Department in the university or college. Itis an interesting invention. So I want to know more about it from U as a native speaker. Can U tell me more about it?
