Speaking your target language to a non native speaker

I found that is easier to speak to non native speakers than to native speakers in your target language. I think non native speakers are more tuned in and speak slower and ussually with your accent.

My friend Eric is amazing Polish speaker, almost fully self taught. He speaks Polish so well that if we are in a disco talking to girls and the music is really loud, for a minute or so the girls might think we are Polish. Sometimes I will see him on the street Krakow. Krakow is a village with a million people where everyone knows each other. We will speak Polish rather than or native language of American English. In Poland this as strange a site for Polish people as two Frenchmen speaking to each other in Chinese in Shang Hai rather than French. Once you learnt a language you can have a lot of fun with it and you will see the world is full of opportunities.
