Polish Potatoes
These are staples in Russian, Polish and Ukrainian cooking. I live in a big city, Krakow and on Saturday a man with a truck comes to people’s doors and asks if they want Potatoes. I think this is rather interesting. You get some guy to deliver Potatoes to your door. Most likely from his personal field.
Last summer I bought some American potatoes of many colors and planted it in Kate’s parents field. I have never seen potatoes come up so fast and big. It must be a combination of Rich Polish soil and American Potato engineering or something. I brought them over in my luggage on the plane. I tried actually to get non GMO organic potatoes for the seeds.
