  • Hi and thank you very much! i just want to ask how the Polish write the Polish language? Are they using a common ABC (English alphabet) or are they using a different character? (like Arabic Character) I’m confuse, i know a person from Poland and i saw how he writes, it’s like an Arabic Character but y is it that on the net or books its ABC….and so on? please help. thanks very much.

    • Hi Janice, The Polish language uses the Latin alphabet just like English. However, it has a few extra letters and accents to accommodate the complex sounds in the Polish language. For example, letters like this: ‘Łodż i Kraków są świetne”.
What you also saw was a Polish person writing in a European style. I think Europeans write even our normal alphabet in with different handwriting, but they are the same letters.
