How to learn a language at the gym with your mp3
No time to study a foreign language? This is one method I use to learn a language. I have gone to the gym for years, on and off. If I spent all that time studying languages I would be speaking a lot more by now. Certainly time at the gym is not wasted, as it is for health. But What if I did spend a fraction of that time studying languages? Who do people remember more Henry David Thoreau or Thoreau’s neighbor with the perfect body? Body is important but the mind is a wondrous thing. Here is the idea, which I do. Lets say you are at the gym for an hour. Bring a list of foreign vocabulary words or a book or an mp3. The idea is not studying during your workout, unless you do not mind listening to your mp3 during your workout, but study your target foreign language after. In every gym I have been there are nice sofas at the reception. Cushy couches to sit on in a nice atmosphere. After your workout your feeling great. So why not for 15 minutes after every workout study your target foreign language at the gym on those nice sofas even just listening to an mp3 of your target lagnuage. If you go to the gym a lot, this time adds up. If you are a guy, I think girls will notice this more than nice biceps or tris, delts, or lats. 15 minutes a day is a lot and you will make progress in your language learning. You will be working not only your body but your mind.
