How to learn vocabulary
One technique I use with students to learn vocabulary is a vocabulary activation trick . You draw vocabulary words from a hat and make students guess it. You must not say the word but must act it out or describe it. It is a multi sensory activation approach to learn vocabulary. Then they must in turn do the same. Many people learn vocabulary, but use the same old same old over and over. To really learn vocabulary you have to activate it, so when you flex your language skills you will really use it.
