Source, I lived in Europe for ten years and never once did I see in all hundreds of relationships between Americans, British and Europeans was there another language spoken at home over English as the primary language at home. I am fluent in Polish basically, yet we speak English at home with some Polish. It depends on the country and langugae I guess. But much of the world speaks English as a second language, although me and my expat friends love speaking our learned language, I would not say we speak it as the primary language.

Foreigners have a huge advantage over Americans in that they learn a foreign language (English) early on in school.

Now, that being said, the question is who goes and explores the world and marries foreigners? In my experiences I have known one or two women marrying foreign guys. On the other hand, think of all the dating sites that men marry foreigner brides. I know scores of American and British guys that have sworn off American women. I mean lets be honest, can you honestly tell me you date American women? It is just a question.

I would love to know where you got the information for this:
Eighty-nine percent of the time you will speak the guys, not the girl’s language in the relationship.

I'd like to cite it in a research paper, please contact me.

Thanks

How many languages do you speak, in Europe most people speak 1.5. That is their own and English to some degree, but some with a passion for languages speak I would say on average four.
